Gregg and Jody Pawelski started Playtime Doggy Daycare in 2006, with humble beginnings and a very limited budget. It was the epitome of a mom and pop shop as they worked tirelessly to build the business up, at a time when doggy daycare was a very new concept. Dog counts increased and the business became more successful, soon the pair was looking into adding a second location. Easier said than done, since by this point dog related facilities had taken off, and the metro Milwaukee area became saturated with plenty of doggy daycare options. Fortunately, they were able to find a location in an area not completely saturated, and Playtime II was born in 2017. A location near the airport provides clientele something close to a major travel port, making it quick and easy for clients to drop off their loved one while traveling. This convenience was a major selling point for the couple when choosing the location of Playtime Doggy Daycare II.

“With all of the other facilities, just opening up another facility was not a guarantee of success. The facility MUST be better than what was being offered, so both locations have spent the last 5 years continuously upgrading their facilities, and grooming top notch management and employees to be the skilled, yet fun and friendly workers that you see there every day. Our employees are the foundation for what we do, but the facility at each location was equally important. Top of the line, roomy kennels are available for overnight boarding, and safe, clean and fun play areas are available for all the dogs. Grooming is offered at both locations as well.”
“As we’ve said previously, the facility is extremely important, and being on the leading edge of the best surfaces and equipment for the dogs has been a primary focus. Both facilities recently completed a ¼ million dollar outdoor play area renovation, which included the addition of artificial turf for the pups to play on! This new turf provides increased comfort for the pups, softer on their feet than any other surface available.
