Delta Makes Commitment to Milwaukee

Sep 20, 2012
Posted by: Jim Tarantino

Delta Airlines has announced that they are making a renewed commitment to the Milwaukee market.  Milwaukee's downtown convention center - formerly known as the Midwest and then Frontier Airline Center - will soon be known as The Delta Center.  The investment in naming rights of the convention center demonstrates Delta's desire to increase its market share at General Mitchell International Airport and compete for the routes that were dropped by Frontier Airlines.  Additionally, Delta will move operations at GMIA to D Concourse, which will help the many retailers who are struggling there following Frontier's declining service.
