Delphi site will be Oak Creel’s new downtown
An exciting plan to create a new downtown for the City of Oak Creek will be unveiled tomorrow morning. A large vacant lot at the corner of S. Howell Ave and Drexel Ave was formerly the home of a large Delphi manufacturing facility but will soon become a main street type mixed use development. The City of Oak Creek, who are members of The Gateway to Milwaukee and the Aerotropolis Milwaukee effort, have been working with WisPark on creating a town center that will be anchored by a new City Hall and library.
