The Red Tape Rescue Program: Free Licensed Premises Pivot Program: Thursday, May 19

Are you trying to start a new business? Have you been struggling to make sense of regulations relating to an existing business? The Licensed Premises Pivot Program can help you cut through the red tape and get your business operating successfully. Whether you are trying to open or are already in operation, if you have questions about getting a license or permit, resolving a problem, understanding rules and regulations, or just have questions concerning best practices, the City of Milwaukee’s License Division is here to help you put your best foot forward.

Who: Taverns, liquor stores, conveniences stores and gas stations. Any business owner, manager or other relevant employees (up to 3) may attend. Attendance is voluntary.

When: Thursday, May 19, 9 a.m. to noon

Where: Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center 930 West Historic Mitchell Street

Why: To develop a collaborative relationship with the City, your neighbors and community partners. Participants will receive a certificate of completion, a copy of which will be placed in their license file.

Representatives from the License Division, City Attorney’s Office, Department of Neighborhood Services and the Milwaukee Police Department will be on hand to answer questions and direct discussions.
